Saturday night at Crystal Motor Speedway was another huge crowd and great racing. The night was sponsored by Royston Auto Sales and featured 130 cars, Autograph Night, and the Greyhound rescue group, Compassion for Greyhounds. Despite the occasional light sprinkles, the racing show kept moving at a blistering pace and was over by 11:05.
The first feature of the night set the pace for the rest of the field with Doug McKeown Sr pulling out a close win over a hard charging Mike VanderMark Jr, nipping VanderMark at the line by half a car length in the Smokers Club of Mt Pleasant Street Stocks. Robert Griffin was close behind for third, followed by Larry Bulson, Larry Kosloski, James Prochazka, Mark Lamb, Nick Daniels, Lloyd Long, and Brooke Ann Brasington. VanderMark and Bulson set the early stage by taking heat wins.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken Late Model feature followed and it was obvious they had taken notes from the Streeters. Heavy action at the front saw a variety of leaders over the course of the race but Mark Andersen finally worked his way around Brian Nickerson to take the lead as the laps were winding down. Tim Stott followed him to the front and after the last couple heart stopping laps, Andersen pulled off the win by a wheel over Stott, Jay VanDyke, Nickerson, Zack Olger, Ryan VanderVeen, Matt Pickard, Kyle Borgman, Rusty Seaver, and Carl Ries. Borgman had worked his way into the main feature by winning the B Main while VanderVeen, Scott Haney, and Bill Beardslee took heat wins.

The Races On The Web Flinn Stock division had some wild action in the early going when Randall Stevens got crossed up and tried to pull an "Evil Kneivel" ramp jump and barrel roll coming into turns one and two for lead.
