Racing for Kidz Welcomes Dirt Racer
(Three Rivers, MI) Racing for Kidz Motor Sports welcomes a veteran dirt racer to the race team from the Hartford Motor Speedway. The team has agreed to terms with Allison Tober Fahar to pilot one of its FWD cars. Allison will make her first appearance on asphalt this Friday night at the M-40 Speedway.
Allison has been racing at the Hartford Motor Speedway in her family owned Dodge Charger number 14 car that was driver by her late father Dave Tober. The famous purple 14 car was quite noticeable when it raced at the Hartford Motor Speedway, Kalamazoo Speedway, Mottville Speedway, and all the other tracks when her father raced. After the passing of her father Allison took over the wheel at the Hartford Motor Speedway were she raced on a weekly basis. She has taken time off from racing to focus on working at the family business over the last few years.
“I have had to make some real hard decisions for our race team over the last few weeks, but I feel that Allison is the right fit for mission and guidelines with we need to follow with the ride along program,” states, Andy Jach, Team Co-Owner. “The days of just showing up to the race track and driving for our team is over it’s required that all our drivers work on their cars.”
The Racing 4 Kidz Motor Sports is also promoting from within the racing team by naming Lance Miller the new team manager. Lance will now handle the day to day operation of the race team from marketing, sponsors, and will work closely with team owners Andy Jach and Frank Dettmar. Lance will start his new role immediately helping the team secure its 2012 budget for the race team and ride along program.
“We need a trusted person to handle the day to day operation of the race team and ride along program,” stated, Frank Dettmar, Team Co-Owner. “Andy and myself have other obligation and we needed someone to fill the business role if something needed to be done we knew we have trusted team members to make the correct business decisions.”
The Racing 4 Kidz Motor Sports is also announcing that Keera Allen will no longer be racing for the program. The team would like to thank Keera for help with starting the race team and wish her the best of luck in her future racing ventures. Racing 4 Kidz Motor Sports feels it now has its team in place for the 2012 race season.
