Hey Darrell,
It was really nice to run into you last night over at the Racing Show World Headquarters. LOL Seriously though I have not seen you in a long time. So I enjoyed it even though I had to wrench till 2AM on my Motorcycle for this weekend.
But like we were talking last night. At the Car show make sure when you get pictures you stage it alittle. Have people around yourself or the driver of the car your wanting me to include in your proposal. GEt close ups that will show clear faces and good times. Even signing an autograph for someone with people waiting in line. I won't have time to talk to you till next week But get with me and lets go over some stuff so you can start getting ready to start looking for your 2009 season sponsors. Those who wait till November to get a proposal put together will be a little late. I am already working towards next season and I am not even in June yet. LOL I have updated my 2008 Proposal 3 times and looking at number 4 in the next week or two.
We will also go over again on some methods you can use for tracking ROI for your sponsors. If your Seriously going to do this and really want to stop paying for racing out of your own pocket every year you have to seriously work hard for your sponsors. Car shows are a nice way to get started. But you know someone else is going to start hosting their own car shows. Then all the teams are running their cars all around to get exposure for their sponsors. Well cool!!! But their are much more effective ways to obtain a ROI for your sponsor to continue growing year after year with your team. I am not saying don't do the Car shows But I think your realizing what I said last night was the correct way with the least amount of work.
So I'll chat at you next week some more Or hell even on a Friday Night your more then welcome to stop by the Garage ma Haul and go over things with me as I build this for you. We open up the Garage Each Friday night from 8pm till Midnight to the public. This Friday I'll Be out of town though. So next Week we'll be open.

If I wasn't out of town I would have Mike bring the Late Model I drive to it. And they are always fun.
